happy tails

When AZGRC rescues a golden, we make sure that the dog: (1) gets treated and cleared of all health problems; (2) is placed in a suitable “foster home” and; (3) finds the perfect “forever home”.

Then he or she is moved to HAPPY TAILS – the ending of a wonderful, but sometimes very difficult and sad journey.

As a tribute to all the dogs that AZGRC has rescued and moved to Happy Tails over the years, we are proud to present this picture story of those rescues that we have helped to have to live a more healthy and happy new life.

Since being moved to Happy Tails is a graduation of sorts, we thought it would be nice to have the dogs shown as class members of the year in which they were rescued*.  Below are pictures of the first dogs that were rescued each year – and they automatically become the Class Presidents.  We hope you enjoy our “Happy Tails”

Please note that there are photos missing from Happy Tails since some rescues were camera shy and would not sit still to have their picture taken.
