Wine Tasting at Vino 100
Arizona
Golden Retriever Connection
takes the 'connection' in its
name seriously. New connections
were made on Sunday, July 18 at
Vino 100
North Phoenix.
Store owners Laura and Kim
graciously poured several of
their favorite wines for our
guests. Each guest got a door
prize entry and four tasting
tickets.

Swimfest
This
is WAY better than a MasterCard
commercial. “Rosie the
Wanderer” here. I’m your roving
reporter from Swimfest. What is
Swimfest? It’s an invitation
and members-only gathering at an
undisclosed location in the West
Valley.

Duck & Decanter
Tax Day Celebration
Hi
everyone! I’m Gilmore. I made my public debut at
the Duck and Decanter on April 17. I had tons of
fun meeting all the other humans and doggies. I’m
still 100 percent puppy but I think I impressed
quite a few people. I even stole a few hearts with
my antics.

Wine, Wags & Wishes
We
would like to thank everyone who
helped make AZGRC’s 2nd
Annual Wine, Wags and Wishes
event a success! The Wine
Tasting and Charity Auction was
held on October 4th
at McCormick Ranch Golf Club in
Scottsdale. It was a beautiful
afternoon with over 100 people
attending the event and
supporting AZGRC’s efforts to
raise funds to help cover the
veterinary expenses for the dogs
we rescue. The afternoon was
filled with entertainment
provided by the Cindy Marshall
Band, good food and wine,
raffles and a putting contest.
Guests had the opportunity to
bid on over 130 items ranging
from trips to Napa Valley,
Beaver Creek and Rocky Point,
Suns tickets, gift baskets and
jewelry to golf outings. We
appreciate everyone’s generosity
whether it was attending the
event, donating or bidding on
items, selling tickets or
volunteering at the event.
While we don’t have final
numbers yet, the money raised at
this event will enable us to
continue caring for some of our
special needs dogs such as Joey
who is recovering from being hit
by a car and Parker who will
need two hip surgeries. This
would not be possible without
your support. Thank you.
